He was born on 08.10.1946 in Gaziantep. He completed Ardahan Primary School in 1952, Kars Middle School in 1955, and Haydarpasa High School in 1962. He entered the Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 1963 and began his specialty of General Surgery at the General Surgery Clinic in 1969.
After he worked as a General Surgery Specialist in 1973, Iğdır State Hospital General Surgery Specialist and Chief Physician, 1 year (1975) Muş State Hospital Operator and Chief Physician, 6 months Geyve State Hospital Operator and Chief Physician, at the end of 1975, he started to work in Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty's Thoracic Surgery Clinic as a research assistant at Edirne Medical Faculty. He worked at St.Thomas Hospital Londra for 1 year, he worked as a cardiovascular surgeon at the University of Cape Town College in South Africa for two years in 1977-1978. In 1979at the Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty he received the title of cardiopulmonary surgeon and in 1981 he received the title of University Associate Professor.
After serving in Edirne for 3 years while Edirne Medical Faculty was founded, I was appointed Chief of Breast Surgery Koşuyolu in 1984.I was appointed to Yedikule Chest Surgery Chief in 1985 and to Heybeliada Breast Surgery Chief in 1987. At the end of 2004, I opened the Lutfi Kirdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital for Thoracic Surgery services. I’m still working. In 2003, he wrote the Surgical Ampiyem department in the Turkish Thoracic Surgery Association's Thoracic Surgery book. He was the founder of Heybeliada Medical Bulletin and a 9-year editor.He has 166 national studies consisting of16 international publications, 27 international declarations, 77 national publications and 46 national reports. There are currently about 10 declarations issued for publication.
